Commercial Property | Partial Renovation of Heating Main Distribution

Piping systems age over time and should be replaced preventively, as untreated steel pipes always carry a risk of rusting through. During a routine inspection of the heating system's main distribution unit, a closer look at the large header pipes revealed several areas of deep rust. We decided to replace the flow and return headers entirely. In addition, the entire main distribution assembly was slightly raised and given new supports.

Our collaboration with Halter Gebäudetechnik AG was highly professional; the technicians did an excellent job, ensuring not only that the connections are leak-proof but also that their functionality was optimized.

The project was carried out while the system remained in operation, ensuring a continuous supply of hot water. Next, we will renew the piping between the water heater and the distribution manifold (for hot water, cold water, and circulation) and replace the old galvanized steel pipes with stainless steel ones.
